Clunie Lodge Guest House

Clunie Lodge Guest House

Clunie Lodge is a Victorian former manse, full of period features with outstanding views of Glen Clunie and the Grampian Mountains and situated in secluded grounds with private parking, but only a few minutes stroll to the village.

We have five tastefully decorated bedrooms, with en-suite shower or private bathrooms. All have colour TV, hospitality tray, hairdryer, and comprehensive tourist information to help you make the most of your stay in Braemar and the surrounding area.

Glunie Lodge

Relax and unwind, with a welcoming cup of tea or coffee after your journey, in the guest lounge where you will also find magazines and other literature, board games and a video library for your use. In the morning, enjoy a cooked Scottish breakfast made from local produce, served in the breakfast room overlooking the woods, where the red squirrels and wild birds will entertain you.

Clunie Lodge Guesthouse

Although peace and tranquillity are assured, Clunie Lodge is well located for leisure activities, with easy access to the Linn of Dee, Balmoral Castle, Royal Lochnagar distillery and the village of Crathie. Red deer and other wildlife await the serious hill walker, casual rambler or mountain biker and in the winter season, the ski slopes of Glenshee are nearby, with the Lecht and Aviemore within reasonable travelling distance.

Clunie Lodge Gardens

Adventurous golfers will find a challenge at Braemar's 18 hole golf course only five minutes away, with other fine courses to be found at Ballater, Aboyne, and Banchory. We have a drying room for our walkers and skiers, plus secure garaging for those with cycles and golf clubs.

We offer, comfortable accommodation and a warm friendly Highland welcome to all our guests and for your added comfort we operate a non-smoking policy throughout.
